Hi, we’re KeySpins—lifelong friends, former college radio DJs, and eternal music obsessives.

Back in our radio days, we started with solo shows, then began overlapping our time on air (sometimes intentionally, sometimes because one of us refused to leave the booth). Eventually, we merged into a single chaotic, joyous co-hosted show—a partnership that never really ended. Decades later, we’re still swapping songs, dissecting beats, and subjecting our significant others to impromptu kitchen dance parties.

This Substack is an extension of that lifelong conversation. Here, we’ll share curated playlists with stories: songs tied to memories, deep cuts we fought over on air, discoveries that feel like old friends, and themes that demand a soundtrack. Sometimes personal, sometimes absurd, always with the same energy as those late-night radio shifts where the only rule was play it like you mean it.
